This site is dedicated to the memory of Tess Smyth.
Our wonderful mum, Tess Smyth, was diagnosed with lung cancer on the 19th August 2009. We didn't realise that day that we would only have 110 more days with her, but we made sure we crammed in 20 years of love and devotion and savoured every precious day with her.
We cared for her every day at home and her last two weeks were spent at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. The palliative care she received was wonderful and all the staff made mum’s last few weeks as comfortable as possible.
Sadly mum went to heaven on Sunday 6th December 2009, aged 65 years old. She is missed so much by everyone and we think about all her every day.

Thoughts
Hi mum, glad I managed to finally get your Tribute Fund up and running. To date there has been a total of £755 raised for the Hospice - I know you would be really proud of everyone and think what a great cause. You got such wonderful care whilst in the Hospice and we know you would be all in favour of us trying to raise funds for them so it could help others. We were so glad that you spent your last two weeks there and got first class treatment, however it is sad that you would have known you would not be coming home.
We all miss you so much, more than you could ever know. I have photos of you all over the house, even in Grace's cot so she can look at you everyday and will never forget you.
